  • Inkjet printers have a menu on the control panel: To find the list of the available reports, open the Wireless, Network Settings, or Setup menu.

  • Wireless status: The Connected status under 802.11 Wireless is what you want. Your printer is not linked to the wireless network if it is not. Your printer should be network-connected. 

  Now, you can find the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway information under 802.11    Wireless. You only need the IPv4 numbers if you notice separate IPv4 and IPv6 numbers.

  • URL(s): Locate the URL(s) for the Embedded Web Server under General Information. Your printer may have many URLs.
  1. To access the printer’s EWS from a computer linked to the same network as it, open a web browser, enter one of the URLs into the address bar, and then press Enter. Try using a different browser if the EWS does not appear.
  1. Open the Wireless menu option in the EWS, pick IPv4 Configuration, and then click the Network or Networking tab.
  1. Choose Manual IP, and then enter the printer’s details.
  • To have all forms automatically filled out, click suggest a Manual IP Address and then confirm that the values in the Network Configuration Page boxes for Manual IP Address, Manual Subnet Mask, and Manual Default Gateway correspond to your printer.
  • Fill in the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway fields using the data from the Network Configuration Page if Suggest a Manual IP Address is not an option.
  1. After selecting Apply, wait until the modifications are accepted.
